ABOUT VINYASA
Vinyasa classes are defined by movement timed with the breath. However, Vinyasa is quite a broad term and these classes can vary a lot in terms of the pace of the class and the postures practiced.
It is best to look up the teacher taking the class, under Our Teachers, in order to get more of a sense of how the class will be.
In dynamic vinyasa classes, not long is spent in each asana as the breath drives the movement. These classes require a level of fitness.
In regular vinyasa classes, the asanas (postures) will often be held for a few breaths so the pace is slower than dynamic vinyasa classes.
