ABOUT PREGNANCY YOGA
Michele/ Robyn teach our pregnancy class in Brixton/Herne Hill on Sunday evenings. This yoga class is designed to nurture and support you through pregnancy, birth and beyond. The class includes stretches, movements, breathing and relaxation techniques that will help you to ease niggles, sleep better and be more comfortable in pregnancy and to bond with your baby after birth. Michele is a senior yoga teacher with over 12 years experience, specialising in pregnancy and postnatal yoga. She is also a recognised Doula UK birth doula having supported over 70 births and has helped hundreds of expectant parents prepare for labour and birth through her popular birth workshops. Michele is a mother of three, and has personal experience of both home and hospital birth. She is also a qualified KG Hypnobirthing teacher and a certified Spinning Babies Parent Educator. It is her greatest wish that every pregnant person feels empowered to have the birth they desire.
This is a chance to meet others who are pregnant and live close by, creating a support network during pregnancy and beyond. Yoga during pregnancy can aid deep relaxation, calm fluctuating emotions and help to prepare you for labour and the early days with your baby. The class is energising, uplifting and nurturing and is a great way to release the tensions in the body and build strength and stamina.

ABOUT PARENT & BABY YOGA
This postnatal yoga class is on Fridays at 11:00 and is a nurturing space that focuses on supporting your health and wellbeing and where you can meet and share experiences while adjusting to having a baby.
It includes gentle stretching and strengthening of the body, exercises to improve posture, breathing and relaxation techniques to promote inner calm, songs and gentle movements to bond with the baby. Postnatal yoga can help with your postnatal recovery.
You may begin this class after your 6-8 week postnatal check up.
