Wednesday 17:00 Studio: Jivamukti yoga
FREE CLASS – optional donation
Aishwarya completed her 300 HR Jivamukti Yoga Teacher Training in 2018 at Blue Spirit Nosara, Costa Rica with senior Jivamukti teachers, Emma Henry and Camilla Veen. This was followed by a 500 HR Jivamukti Teacher Apprenticeship in the former Jivamukti Yoga School, Arts District Los Angeles in 2019 with her mentor, HaChi Yu, whom she assisted in establishing and growing this beautiful space in 2019 and where she was a member of the international guest teaching team.
Aishwarya’s classes, which are strongly rooted in the Jivamukti Yoga tradition, are characterized by a changing monthly focus, energizing vinyasa sequences, lively electro beats, as well as, ample space to be still and reflect on the deeper teachings of these ancient practices that Aishwarya passionately weaves into her classes.
In addition to her Jivamukti Yoga training, Aishwarya has also completed her Level 1 Crystal Bowl Sound Healer Training with the fantastic duo of Holly Husler and Carly Grace in June 2024. So allow yourself to be carried off to distant realms with the magical sounds of the Alchemy Crystal Bowls during a relaxing Shavasana!
Aishwarya is part of the founding teaching team at Westway Yoga Kollective Dana (WYKD), a fast-expanding community-based charitable yoga studio with rising recognition on the London yoga scene. WYKD started off in West London at the Bay20 Community Center in 2021 with the primary aim of making yoga more accessible by offering absolutely free yoga classes to one and all. From its early days at Bay20, WYKD has now expanded to premier yoga studios across London – Lovesupreme Projects, Life Center (Notting Hill), Yogabase (Camden), Sangye Yoga and now starting at YogaPoint! WYKD offers its free classes to a regular following of now over a 150 students from all walks of life and levels of yoga experience.
