Join Suhad for a deeply supportive somatic workshop series dedicated to exploring the mind of the Nervous system; as a system of communication and sensitivity that carries with it opportunities to re-pattern and reclaim our original Blueprint the true self.

We begin by cultivating a quality of presence of both our Nervous System and the fluid systems, as they are fundamental means by which the body-mind is organised to function as one individual whole. The nervous system is our recording system—it registers new sensations and directs responses based on memory and perception.

An essential quality of the nervous system is sensitivity. We will explore how to embody this sensitivity by physically grounding awareness into its tissues, cells and nerves. We will embody an ongoing process of activity, perception, and response that is ever-present, reflecting our continuously changing interaction with the inner and outer environment.

In these series we will explore what the imprints of life events on our body present themselves. We will approach the profound idea that the true self is akin to a blueprint, unique to who you are. As we navigate life, we acquire imprints. Relationships and experiences influence and shape this blueprint: some imprints enhance, while others occlude and distort its expression. This can leave us feeling that parts of our creativity, expression, and vitality are inaccessible.

As we explore our different states of being through the lens of the nervous system, we will examine the deep history held within our physical selves—the reflexes hardwired before conscious thought—we trace how the ending of one reflex pattern is often the first, truest beginning of you. These two workshops over November and December will invite you to learn how to support yourself while meeting these imprints that limit your expression and re-pattern habitual responses recorded by the nervous system.

Our goal is to cultivate the nervous system flexibility needed to move easily between receptive and expressive modes, helping to clarify and potentiate the expression of your true blueprint

Both workshops are an opportunity to explore your Soma (the body experienced from within) and deepen your understanding of your essential needs. Join Suhad to explore these themes in a safe and supportive space to support the shift from fragmentation to integration and well-being.

Who is this for? 

These workshops are accessible to all bodies: individuals seeking to deepen their connection with their body’s innate wisdom.  Individuals seeking a gentle and embodied approach to movement and healing. Those experiencing chronic health conditions, autoimmune disorders, or Long Covid. Anyone who finds traditional yoga practices challenging or inaccessible.

Suhad’s intention is to provide a safe and supportive space for you to reconnect with your body’s natural capacity for healing and restore balance at all levels.
