Regina Ulloa

Regina grew up in Argentina, where she attended her first dance class at 4 years old. Her love for physical movement and exercise began then. Dance and dance training became part of who she is and she went on to work as a professional contemporary dancer for 10 years.

At 17, when already committed to becoming a professional dancer, Regina attended her first yoga class, she loved it. She found yoga helped her to stay balanced and to connect with herself. It supported her to find her own expression as an artist and became an integral part of her life. It was natural that she eventually trained to teach yoga in 2019.

Regina qualified first in Hatha and Vinyasa. Vinyasa was the natural choice for her as it aligned with her background, matching intention, energy, breath and movement. A year later she undertook advanced teacher training and training in Yin and restorative yoga. She also has trained in GP and Exercise Referral, core stability, pregnancy and post-natal yoga and to an advanced level as a fitness instructor.

Regina is passionate about teaching and has been teaching movement and exercise for nearly 40 years, having started to teach dance at just 16. She believes in helping people to tune into their body, to get in touch with themselves on an intuitive level and to fully connect with their bodies. “We move energy through our body and as teachers, we have the skills to empower people to achieve a healthy body and mind.”

Nowadays, Yoga is what she enjoys teaching the most. “I see Yoga as a spiritual practice, and a life-long journey, where we are always the student. I believe in honouring our own energy, listening to the body and being open to receive.
