Pilates works the whole body, its aim is to develop the 'core' muscles, in order to undo bad posture and encourage dynamic alignment. The aim of Pilates is to restore the natural strength of the body, to work its full potential with the least amount of effort. The core fundamentals of Pilates are based upon a thorough understanding of the anatomy of the human body.
Laura teaches a lunchtime class on Fridays 13:00-14:00. It is an invigorating lunch-time session for all levels. Designed to improve core stability, strength and posture, Laura teaches a dynamic, flowing class that will stimulate and refresh past the post-lunch energy dip. Pilates helps to develop body awareness, improving and changing the body's postural alignment habits and increasing flexibility and ease of movement.
